Mike Ty

Owner/Operator
Hospitality Culinary, Inc.

Mike Ty is a Las Vegas entrepreneur and community leader whose approach to business is rooted in family values, service, and a genuine commitment to giving back. As owner and operator of Hospitality Culinary, Inc. (HCI), which operates three Jamba franchise locations at Harry Reid International Airport, Mike continues the family legacy established by his father, who founded HCI in 1993.

A Las Vegas native, Mike earned a degree in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He also serves as Treasurer on the board of Friends of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Search and Rescue, supporting teams that protect and serve Southern Nevada.

Philanthropy is a cornerstone of the Ty family’s values. Mike continues this tradition through his support of Chef for Kids, the nonprofit founded by his father, which promotes healthy eating and nutrition education for elementary school students in the Clark County School District. Through school breakfast programs, nutrition education, and meals for shelters and families during the holidays, the organization makes a tangible difference in the community. Mike’s involvement reflects his belief that business success carries an opportunity and responsibility to help others.

Mike is equally committed to preserving cultural heritage and strengthening Las Vegas as a welcoming destination. For the past five years, HCI has served as the Gala Dinner Title Sponsor of Chinese New Year in the Desert™, one of the region’s major Lunar New Year celebrations. The event celebrates Asian heritage, brings communities together, attracts visitors, and creates opportunities for local businesses and the hospitality industry. HCI’s continued partnership reflects Mike’s belief in the power of cultural traditions, community engagement, and private-sector investment to build a vibrant, inclusive city.

Mike’s values align closely with the ACE Foundation’s mission to advance opportunities, strengthen communities, and create lasting philanthropic impact. As a business owner who understands the importance of entrepreneurship and sustained community investment, he brings a practical, service-oriented perspective to the Foundation. His kindred spirit in philanthropy is evident in both his support and his belief that giving back is a responsibility passed from one generation to the next.

Outside of business and community service, Mike is a devoted husband and father of two who enjoys traveling with his family, especially visiting Disneyland.
